Organic Farming

ISKCON Daiva Varnasrama Ministry (promoting rural development in India)is delighted to announce the commencement of a new Varnasrama course in Organic Farming.

This exciting opportunity for devotees includes education on effects of chemical fertilizers and promotion of the Vedic system among other subjects.

This course will be held yearly by the ISKCON Daiva Varnasrama Ministry in Mayapur and is free to all attending. The course is 6 days in duration. The aim of this course is to raise the standard of farming, through the reintroduction of the Vedic system in the broader community, while reinvigorating the existing Farming efforts.

Among many speakers, we are proud to have special guest speakers,  Sanat  Kumar from Govardan Eco Village and Kalakanta whom both share vast extensive careers in Organic Farming services.

ISKCON recognizes a dire need in today’s modern world for training in these subjects and urges all devotees to attend.

The organization of such an event has proven to be both time consuming and expensive.

We therefore take this time to humbly ask for donations toward the following expenses.

If you too see a dire need for education in these areas please give generously.
